Show FUNERAL SERVICES TODAY FOR JOSEPHINE S ROBISON funeral services will be held this afternoon friday july 8 for or mrs airs josephine sweeting ting robison Rob lson 85 who died tuesday at 1210 p m in salt lake city of causes incident to ago age she had been ill for about six months and three weeks ago went to salt lake city thinking the change night might to ilo her good mrs airs delia robison and ills alls hilda gilles pie wore were living in an all adjoining apartment part ment and had been with her much of the time while slie she was in salt lake mrs robison was born july 13 1852 at brunson michigan Aric higan the daughter of judson and cornelia Swee sweeting she met mr air almon robison while lie was on a visit there and married him she was 25 years old when she came caine to utah as mr air Ro bride her father ather and her brother prank frank Swee sweeting and his family later joined her here her husband almon robison was a pioneer in every sense of the word reclaiming the lie waste lands and building up a great farming estate during his lifetime mrs airs robson robison was right there beside him through all this hard work and frugal planning tor for the future without her help lie he could not have been so successful cess ful her husband died some 21 years ago and since that time mrs airs kobl son has lived next door to her brother and his family her love ove and affection on her two nephews lewis and roy sweeting mrs robison has been a good and thoughtful hought tul neighbor reever she has las lived whether on the farm or here lere in town and her neighbors have lave reciprocated by being kind to her during these last years when her health has been very poor mrs airs jennie ashby mrs airs lizzle lizzie carling Carl lne mrs airs delia elia robison and others have at different times been very good to this dear little lady besides the two nephews here jewa hewl and roy sweeting and iland her sister ln in law mrs jennie sweeting airs robison is survived by a neice mrs airs erie reynolds and a nephew rodney sweeting of brunson michigan 1 mayor james A kelly and wm win D melville wll wit be the principal speakers at this afternoons services which will be under the direction of bishop henry hatton they will commence at 2 in tile the second ward church the singing mothers and mr air thomas and others will furnish the musical numbers the burial Is in charge of the 01 pin mortuary and will take place in the city cemetery the remains may be viewed at tile the home up until time tor for the services |
