| Show conference HELD AT ALT FIRST WARD thursday and friday june 21 24 and a music conference was held at the first ward church from to with a one hour intermission ter I 1 the forenoon and afternoon w wad ad divided with organists and choristers cho sections however most moet members from rom both groups attended both see sections the attendance on the first 1 day was fifty two and forty attended on the second day alfred 11 durham of salt lake was the instructor at the buical in sti tude tire the work was made practical by mr durham who gave instructions for organists choristers cho tor for all church activities ile he showed how to play an organ the proper touch and the tone qualities produced with 7 stops in ila the choristers cho work individual practice was given on the organ and cheuse of the baton the choristers cho followed instructions and rendered individual criticism or suggestions gest ions lons it was felt by all that attended that it was a great success |
