work allotment can handle and Pt patroon tj temen roon now at work are but a trac frac vs 0 the coun countes count tys ya unemployed in av oi ot the tact fact that the government w II 11 not permit the rotating ot of men on the lob jobs and promises to have all re employed in a very short time new allotments allot mentH are expected almost dally daily in fact act several enterprises terp rises aro are reported now under way that will employ large numbers ot of men in this county the rate ot of pay Is also good single handle are paid 60 50 cents per hour for or a thirty hour week and men with teams are paid 76 75 cents it Is understood that in localities where skilled labor can be used it Is paid per hour unrest vot not profitable the good fortune of those who have been selected to work has caused some unrest and criticism on the part ot of those not yet employed it will not do any good as the rules of the program are not fixed by local cal officers and for or them to relay a complaint on to higher authorities it recognized at all might servo serve only to jeopardize chances lor for future allotments lot ments whether we believe la in the policies or not the federal government has undertaken a tremendous task and calls upon all loyal americans to give it a chance it Is no time to quibble over potty do details and harass already overworked over worked officials many of 0 whom are doing a great part it not all of their work without remuneration lets letb give our country a fighting chance in this mammoth undertaking and show a little appreciation for the unceasing efforts of our county commissioners and others who are working for or our welfare in this crisis |
