republicans laicans to their view on the initiative and referendum this bill will vill cause one of at the longest debates during the session unless the house sets a time limit on the speakers there are several ramifications to the bill which will be brought out and discussed on the floor floo r the wootton prohibition bit bill I 1 Is attracting tr much attention in the house the passing of tho the bill by the senate has haa caused the manufacturers arid and commerce committees of the house before which are pending several regulatory and prohibition measures to td prepare to receive the bill when it comes from the senate tho the house has broken the record of the tenth session as it has introduced bills in thirty four days the tenth session introduced alb bills in sixty days and more than seventy five of these came from committees february 15 was the last day tor for the introduction ot of bills in the house two measures introduced by members of the legislature front from salt lake were considered by the public utilities ties committee of the house on febuary february r 12 and an unfavorable report thereon returned 11 II U B no 4 by T T burton providing that there shall not bo be more than nine cars in any passenger train operated in utah was considered at length by the committee arguments made by the trainmen and by the railroads were reviewed by the committee and more
