Show IN MEMORIAM after a lingering illness of several months mrs airs margret forti tumble trimble died at her home at fillmore on sunday last while services wore were being held in ill tile the chiapel Oli Cli apel for v a short time before the last few days of her life her ter many friends had become inspired with hope for her recovery but tile the favor favorable ablo indications were only temporary arid and death finally gained the victory tile the deceased was the daughter of Alex alexander forti her mothers name we have been unable to obtain she wits was born in cumberland england may alay 7 1857 became a member of the L D S church A in in an early jay day and when about 12 years olal old emigrated with her parents to utah and deber city wasatch wasa county was her home for a short time and there there bhe had her first great sorrow in id the lose of her mother after which she came with her father to fillmore where her home has been ever since since I 1 1 Nl na yai r T J 1104 10 bolme 1 chewe the e a ae who after years of poor health proceeded her to the great beyond in the year 1901 she became tile the mother of five sons all surviving her arid and residing at fillmore 40 impressive funeral services were held in the fillmore ward I 1 chapel on tuesday conducted by bishop P L brunson the speakers were A J ashman george crane joseph finlinson and bishop P L brunson wilo who all dulog zil hii g y of tie nob character of lier her as a wife mother and church worker she was for many maicy years a member of the W word V rd choir arid and a number of the older members who used to sing wilh lier her took part on oil this occasion in singing site she is gone come 0 come slumbering invocation was ou ered by john cooper and ben idia ideation tion by christian anderson the deceased was a counselor in the presidency of the relief society six members of which officiated as pall bearers the chapel auditorium was beautifully decorated arid and the audi ance was large for site she was a much beloved and an d highly esteem ed woman the following resolutions of 0 condolence arid and poem prepared tor the occasion were read by mrs may stevens resolutions of condolence whereas Where ati it lias has pleased god in his finate in wisdom to remove from our midst our beloved sis ter maggie aggie tumble trimble the sisters of the fillmore relief society desire to submit the following resolutions in fit as much a as 1 s we have known sister trimble for many years her qualities its as wife mother and friend have endeared her to ill all who knew iier her therefore be it resolved that in consideration of tl b e position sister trimble oc cupie in our association and tho the able manner in which she performed her duties we deem it fitting and proper that we express our appreciation of tier her services be it further resolved that removal of such a noble charach char act er as our dear sister leaves a vacancy in our community and casts a shadow of gloom over us that time alono alone can dispel arid and bo be it further resolved that with deep sympathy for tile the anh the deceased we express an all earnes earnest hope that oven even so great a bereavement may bo be over ruled for their highest good t g W ah hoac bonfi r men i her efow sorrowfully every shadow on oil that tranquil brow they then remember lim how she kissed them bile how she blessed the them m each at night and they felt no need of angles keeping watch till morning light liblit such a good little mother thru their tears her sons today bless the god she loved and trusted that in faith she passed away passing on in loving greeting to ta the husband gone before there with him to rest in peael borthen the storms of life aie oer |
