Show oasis SAMUEL some time ago during a a very short electric storm mr peter skeels had three milk cows struck by lightning and jill all killed this is unusual for this part of the country but such things occur some times mrs mary aury helebrant of idaho who was very ill came to hinckley for it a visit and passed away at the home of mrs airs lula cropper her dought daughter r last sunday morning nor ning at 0 5 the body was sent to idaho for burial the deceased leaves a husband and eight children burthe but alie children are all grown and nearly all are in married they have our deepest sympathy very cold weather has almost stopped the alfalfa from any pro progress gress but we hope mr gold cold will soon go home to the dort north or die from suffocation 0 or heat mr air T JEL church is somewhat under the weather budwe hope to see aee him around soon lie he is tile the olde oldest t person in oasis and we ve think lots of him he is now 87 years bearg old and has been very strong he drives tile the sta stage fre from here to Abra abraham liam which lie he lias has done for years william ward who went to the lio hospital ll 11 returned much improved and is now able to be 1 around a gain again 1 mrs T G reed heed is still improving P oving but her improvement improve men n seems t to e v very ex slow we m huir lloil wind wilid mill up and also a n nic water tank thus giving him a private waterworks water works all his own so 30 WP we expect et a nice garden this year also a real lawn in front we would encourage more of the same so we can beautify our homes |
