in view of the hostile attitude of the democratic party toward the mormon people it is an incontrovertible fact al already realy demonstrated well beyond the possibility of doubt no matter how much boasting boti sting protesting and deception may be engaged in to the contra ry that so lar as the mormon people are concerned the democratic party bas abandoned what ever high principles it once had and has become the party of in tolerant selfish cruel relentless religious persecution and is a vi alator of the national Cons titu tion insofar as that great charter of human liberty guarantees f free ree dom to worship god to all citi zens mormons cormons or otherwise and to exercise the full r rights of citizenship now enjoyed and fur ther the policy now being fol lowed by the democratic the facts show conclusively that the republican party throughout the whole na arf tion is is un united cited in defending the rights of the mormon people as citizens on the other hand they also show that the democrat tic party throughout m the whole nation with perhaps the excel tion of the democrats in utah is s antagonistic to and arrayed against 0 the mormon people in fact there is s no
