Show L o c als Mr. Harry Larson of Salt Lake, is here this week on business. Mr. E. Foutz motored to Salt Lake Thursday on a business trip. V. C. Ernst left Saturday en route to California for medical treatment. Miss Margaret Cochrane is spending spend-ing the week at the Gospill farm. Mrs. Roy Cottrell entertained the M. E. aid1 Thursday afternoon. Fred Schumacher of Garrison, spent a few days with us this week. Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Ryan and T. A. Johansen are with us today. H. L. Thompson was over from Beaver on Wednesday. ' Fred Levi and family are now Mil-ford Mil-ford residents. They are occupying tlio Edwards home. Mrs. Van Hickman is entertaining her niece. Miss Kathleen Gates of St. George. The largest crowd ever seen in Milford at any doings was out to see the big chamber of commerce entertainment enter-tainment last Friday night. C. B. Brooks and family returned to their home at Lehi Monday, after spending a week in our city. Mrs. Si. Jones has as a guest this week, her father, Mr. Asher and small son of Nephi. Mr. and Mrs. Morris Johnson re turned Wednesday from a two week vacation at Long Beach, California. Mr. and Mrs. John C. Smith and Mr. J. W. Evans of Salt Lake, were in our city this week. F. M. Gunaison and F. P. Fuller came down from Zion to transact business in Milford. Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Kindall and daughter, of Salt Lake City, were in the city Tuesday. Joe Davis has returned from the Apex mine. Joe thinks Milford' is "gud nuc." C. H. Erickson of Salt Lake and Homer Stout of Beaver, arrived in Milford Monday transacting business. busi-ness. Al Hillary and son, Jack, returned Saturday evening from California, bringing with them, Mr. Hilliary, who has been at Long Beach for some time. Mrs. "Anna Grimshaw entertained the S. C. D. I. club Tuesday afternoon. after-noon. Sewing was the main feature of the afternoon, after which a very dainty luncheon was served to all the club members. Mrs. John Carling of Fillmore, is the guest of her daughter. Mrs. L. G. Clay. The little son of Mrs. Fred White had his tonsils removed Thursday morning. Mrs. Dan Ferguson and son Dan, leave this week for a visit in Los Angeles. An-geles. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Johnson returned re-turned Tuesday from Los Angeles, where they have spent several weeks F. The Rev. and Mrs. Clark and two children arrived Wednesday from Salt Lake and are getting settled in the M. E. parsonage. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Kesler and family went over to Beaver Saturday night to visit relatives and attend a family reunion and picnic in Beaver canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Win. Cochrane entertained en-tertained two tables at cards Tuesday Tues-day evening in honor of Mr. and Mrs Blumberg, who are leaving this .week for Los Angeles. A delicious supper was served at midnight. Mrs. Abe Fotheringham returned Wednesday from Salt Lake City. She j was accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. Clair Nicholsand the new grandson, grand-son, Kenneth Clair Nichols. Mrs. Jack Weston entertained on Thursday evening in honor of Mrs. Frank Crookston. of Delta. Those present were Misses Mary Roper. Letha Schow, Mrs. Myron Lewis, Mrs Brown Bush, Mrs. Charles Miller Mrs. George Rogers and Mrs. Seymour Sey-mour Larson. Mr. R. T. Brown met with a very painful accident In the Frisco mine. He came to Milford for attention and is now progressing very well. Mrs. P. J. Adams of Service Star fame, was here Saturday to, attend the reception and meeting at Hotel Atkin. given in honor of the state president, Mrs. Potter. A large attendance at-tendance was there and a very enjoyable en-joyable and edifying event was realized real-ized by all. Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Lund of Sandy, San-dy, were here on Saturday. Mrs. Lund was formerly Miss Elva Burns, one of the cahrming Milford1 belles. Elva has lost none of her beautiful charms, but womanhood has enhanced en-hanced her beauty. They were on their way to Zion canyon on an outing. |
