Show CIVIC CLUB HAS BEGUN ITSSERVICE On all sides great satisfaction is being expressed at what is being accomplished ac-complished by the Civic association. It would surprise one to know the many calls for help and assistance that come in daily to this organization. organiza-tion. Someone said, the other day, "I don't see how Milford ever got along without one," for one can readily see the good already done, and what will be done in the very near future. The activity of reorganizing the boy scouts is shown by the call for a mass meeting on Thursday evening, and already, a great deal has been effected in that direction. On the sentimental order, there has been a great deal done for the betterment and comfort of the suffering suf-fering children and dependent ones. On Saturday last, Mrs. Nebeker, president, of the organization and Mrs. Dr. Hunter, also an officer, with Rev. Zook, Mr. Joe Tribole and Mr. Wilson, drove out in autos to rescue a family that has needed attention and consideration for months. All the prominent people of Milford, Mil-ford, are coming forward now and offcing ausdstance in any way, to assist as-sist these liitle ones, and also pledging pledg-ing their suppoit and approval for the activit;es of the civic work. Let everyone attend the mass meeting and help reorganize the boy scout council, as a good community spirit is Imperative in this movement, move-ment, as it is for the good and advancement ad-vancement of Young America. The public pub-lic to be invited to attend this meeting. meet-ing. Chairmen were appointed for the various committees. A slogan for the association is to be voted upon, at the next meeting, and every member is requested to be present. The meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. H. H.
