Show , UTAH SERVICE STAR WOMAN IS HONORED Mrs. P. J. Adams of Salt Lake, who was national third vice president presi-dent of the Service Star legion, was elected national second vice president presi-dent at the closing -session of the convention at Pittsburg, Pa., Friday according to word received by the local chapter. The communication also announced that Ogden had won the Service Star flag offered to the local chapter of the country showing the greatest increase in membership for the year. The flag was awarded by Mrs. Mayer, retiring president, and was designed by Mrs. Selden I. Claw-son, Claw-son, of Salt Lake. Mrs. Henry Baker of Baltimore, was elected national president of the Service Star legion. Mrs. Baker has been a national director di-rector of the organization since its establishment and chairman of the legislative committee the last two years. She is also prominently identified identi-fied with the National Federation of Women's clubs. The Utah delegates attended the convention in addition to Mrs. Adams, Ad-ams, were Mrs. Victor C. Vette, Mrs. E. O. Howard, Mrs. Fred Davidson and Mrs. Albert Fisher. A |
