Show ORDINANCE NO. 3 An Ordinance Amending Chapter XIII, Revised Ordinances of the Town of Milford, 1924, relating to Licenses, prohibiting the sale of ;oods by sample and taking orders without first obtaining a license so to do, by adding new section to be ; known as Section No. 14 OX BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD I OF TRUSTEES OF MILFORD Utah: Section 1. Chapter Amended. Chapter XIII, Revised Ordinances of the Town of ilford, 1924, relating to Licenses, be and the same is hereby amended, by the addition thereto of the following section, to be known as Section No. 140X: Sec. 14QX. It shall be unlawful for any person carrying on the business busi-ness of selling at retail or wholesale any goods, chattels, wares, produce or merchandise of an ykind whatsoever, whatso-ever, by sample or order, for himself or any other person, firm or corporation corpora-tion without first obtaining a license so to do, and paying therefor into the Town Treasury the annual license of $150.00; but for the selling sell-ing as aforesaid by sample or order a license may be issued upon the payment of $10.00 per day, if the applicant desires a license for a less period than three months; provided that this ordinance shall not apply to traveling agents who sell exclusively exclus-ively by sample or otherwise to regular regu-lar merchants doing business in this Town; and provided further, that this ordinance shall not apply t those engaged in interstate com-merce. com-merce. Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force upon the tenth (lay after its publication.
