Show Weber Canyon Road Dic-cussed I Salt Lake City. Inspection of the j possible location of the Ogden Devil's : Gate road south cf the paved section of Washington avenue at Ogden to the mouth of Weber canyon and along the north side of the canyon was made ' recently by Henry H. Blood, chairman I of the state road commission; W. J. ' Parker, member of the commission; J ! II. S. Kerr, assistant engineer, and K. C. Wright, district engineer of the commission; B. .1. Finch, federal district dis-trict engineer, and J. H. Young, engineer en-gineer of the bureau of public, roads, and engineers of the Union Pacific railroad and Utah Power & Light com-I com-I pray. The location of the road on ('he aerili side of (ho canyon to Devil's j Hate is being considered, and if this ! is dene, it. is announced the road will be an all-winter highway to Echo canyon can-yon and Hvanslon, Wyoming. It is estimated that the road will cost in excess cf $200,000. and efforts are being made by the road officials and engineers to arrive at some conclusion con-clusion regarding some intermediate type of road between that which costs $10,000 per mile and that which will cost $30,000 per mile.
