Show GUESTS ATTEND GOLDEN WEDDING The Golden Wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. J. G.' Jones, of Adamsville, was observed on April Hth in the ward meeting house. There were over two hundred honored honor-ed guests served with a dinner. An-abundance An-abundance of delicious food was offered of-fered every guest at the tables. The tables were nicely arranged with everything good to eat. A beautiful "wedding cake helped bqeautify the table where the older people sat. The long married couple met many friends and renewed many old associations asso-ciations in addition to joining with their children, grandchildren and other relatives. Mr. Jones was born in Wales, Nov. 14, 1856. His wife, Mary A. Jones, was born in Wales, May 24, I860. They both crossed the plains when young children, under the direction of Captain Chipman's company. Mr. Jones walked the entire distance in 1S66. Mrs. Jones in Captain By-water's By-water's train, was carried by some person all of the eway in 1864. Mr. and Mrs. Jones were married in the endowment house in Saint George, Utah, April 10, 1877, and made their home in Adamsville ever since. They are the parents of twelve children, ' six of whom are living: James Jones of Beaver City, Abraham G. Jones of Camas, Utah, Richard Jones of Milford, Thomas W., and Josiah Jones of Adamsville, and David B. Jones of Fielding. There are twenty-three grandchildren and one great-grandson. The adamsville Ward freely gave them some nice presents, a dining table, two rockers and a mirror and other valuable presents as well as money was presented the aged couple. At 8:30 p. m., a dance was given: The Beaver High school orchestra ' furnishing the music. Mrs. Edres and Ruby Jones gave two special musical selections, Miss Nellie Jones, dress: d in costume, danced the Charleston dance.
