Show MILFORD'S FASHION SHOW IS BIG EVENT OF YEAR The B. P. W. club surely aroused the town on Tuesday and Wednesday by giving the usual fashion show. li;e stores of J. C. Oh, shades of 1902, what a contrast soon the dream past and we awoke to see short skirts, shapely : limbs, plump arms, beautiful necks ami earless heads. One could hardly realize that twenty years would bihig such a change. Miss Louise Levi read a poem explaining the govns, first was the school . girls, go-vned in style and good taste, then came the elegancy that we cannot describe, gowns bedecked with jewels, coats with costly furs, street dresses that looked like they had just stepped out of Worths at Paris'. The vaudeville vaude-ville stunt, "Straight from Japan" yus the event of the evening and great credit is due Miss Levi. Miss Vera McAlister was a vision of beauty in her act. It was a great and glorious event. It helped the town and caused every one present to feel hurrah for Milford. Mil-ford. The B. P. W. club surely deserves de-serves a great deal of credit. They worked hard but success crowned their efforts. |
