Show w CHEVROLET SETS NEW PRODUCTION RECORD The Chevrolet Motor Company, largest manufacturer of three-speed cars, shattered two of its marks during September when it established establish-ed a new monthly record of 81,158 passenger cars and trucks and attained at-tained a production total of 593,281 units for the first nine months of 1926, eclipsing the half-million production of the entire 12 months Df 1925. the Chevrolet's greatest fear. Neither of these figures ever has been approached by any other builder build-er of cars with three-speed selective select-ive transimssions. The September production averag- ' ?d 3.3S1 units daily for the 24 work- I ing days of the month. This also s a new record. The 81,158 total for i September followed several recent j months of record-breaking produc-1 lion.
