Show Cinderella Mining Company Starts Active Operation The once famous Lincoln mining district in the west mountains of Beaver county, promises to again become be-come a scene of active operation. It is more than a rumor, for the first shipment of ore was loaded on the cars at Milford last week and shipped ship-ped to the smelters at Salt Lake. The Cinderella Mining & Milling company, of Salt Lake City, with C. D. Hasler as president, has secured a bond and lease on the Lincoln, Creole, North American and Croft properties in that district, and expect ex-pect to have all the properties in operation op-eration soon. A representative of the Press visited visit-ed these mines last week and found Mr. Hasler with a force of twelve men at work at the Croft mine, loading trucks with the first shipment ship-ment of ore, and repairing the machinery ma-chinery for active operations. The Croft mine has a seven foot vein of load ore, containing some silver and gold, assays running from $35 to' $120 per ton. As soon as the company gets this property producing regular shipments, ship-ments, they plan on unwatering the Lincoln mine, which has been flooded flood-ed for a number of years. This is claimed to be one of the richest properties prop-erties in this part of the state, but owing to litigation, has been idle many years. There is no doubt that there is some exceptionally good ore in these properties and it looks as if the Cin-drella Cin-drella Min'ng company has a splendid splen-did future. The operations in the Lincoln district dis-trict will give, an added impetus to revival of mining in Beaver county. Beaver Press. |
