Show NADA'S FIRST ANNUAL FAIR Nada's first annual fair was held in the Pan-Escalante building last week. The various exhibits of farni products evidenced the mounting Importance Im-portance of Nad a as an agricultural center. John Johnson, proprietor of th.i Happy Holsteln dairy, won first award aw-ard in the pumpkin division with -huge pumpkin, named "Justice Taft. A photograph only was exhibited, the original vegetable having been left back in Missouri, where It was raised. Mrs. Henrietta Patrlckson's entlro j gooseberry crop was displayed. 1-' 1-' took two prizes for the lady had baked bak-ed it in a pie, thus qualifying it for both the berry and pastry divisions. Mrs. Patrickson has earned fame In another way. She will be remember ed as the originator of that historic expression, "Give me liberty or at least six per cent." which was uttered utter-ed when Deputy Sheriff Shields confiscated con-fiscated all the brandy she wuh saving sav-ing In case of sickness and mince pies.
