Show I High School News Notes i Milford won over Minersville with ! a score of 23 to 3 7 Friday, February! 6. I Tho; game between Milford and Beaver, played at Beaver, Friday, February 13, was fast and furious. George Gardner, one of Milford's star players contracted the mumpj and was unable to play. The turning point in the game when White was lulled out of the game on three personal per-sonal fouls. Beaver forged ahead and came out the winner with a score of 21 to 28. Milford enthusiasts, who witnessed witness-ed the game, were far from pleased at the way in which Milford team was dealt. If the luck of the team holds, there is still a chance of winning win-ning over Beaver. Eighth Grade week, beginning on February 9, was extra lively. Heart tags were sold admitting the students stu-dents to the program and dance. Friday, February 20, the Milforr1 team will play at Minersville. The Minersville game will be the deciding decid-ing game. If Milford wins, Parowan, Beaver and Milford will he tied. The Seventh Grade started their week by selling Booster pencils. The program was given Thursday after-noo'n. after-noo'n. The numbers, were as follows: Song, Elma Hickman; Prayer El-ma El-ma Bird; Violin solo, Macel Rogers; Song, six coons and Junior Glee club song, Vance Fisher; two act play, Dorothy Bailey, Mabel Bradfield, Fern Jennings, Betty Murdock and Kathrym McKeon. The school orchestra played for a dance in the gym after the program. ! . |
