Show w Ben S. Moore of Boulder, Colo., was doing business here this week. George Jefferson returned Thursday Thurs-day night from Salt Lake where he 'attended a. meeting of the Merchants Association. The ice plant of the Jenerson Mer cantile Co. was put out of commission commis-sion Friday. The main shaft broke and they were unable to get it fixed until-Sunday Mr. and Mrs. S D. Atkin and children chil-dren who had been visiting the former's for-mer's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Atkin, returned Monday to their home In Salt Lake City. D. M. Kirkland of the first army returned to Milford Monday night from 18 month's army service Mr. Kirkland has a ranch near Milford, being one of the settlers from Imperial Im-perial Valley California. Mrs Charlie Brooks and children chil-dren left Tuesday night for a day's sight-seeing trip in Salt Lake City. From there they will go to their former for-mer home in Colorado Springs to spend the summer. Bill Dobson's big yellow car had the fender smashed Friday evening while Mrs. Dobson and several others were sitting In It out in front of the store. The Matthews truck turned the corner and ran into It. Warren Knaus returned Saturday Satur-day night from a six weeks' trip through Zion canyon,. St. George, Cedar and other points In Southern I'tah, where he has been hunting entomological specimens to add to his big collection. He and Mrs. Knaus who have been visiting her daughters. Mrs. H. M Korns and Mrs. Charles Miller, left Monday night for their home In McPherson. Kansas. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kitchen of r.angor. Maine, arrived Friday evening ev-ening for a three weeks' visit with .Mrs. Kitchen'. brother. L. A. Wynau ght and family. Mr. Wynaught has not seen his sister for twenty one years and as he had no idea she was coming to visit, he did not recognize recog-nize her when she and her husband arrived from the late train about midnight. Mr. Kitchen, who is also al-so a transfer man. went over with Mr. Wynaught in his truck Saturday Satur-day and sp'-nt the day in Beaver. |
