Show NOTICE OF CONTEST Department of the Interior, U. S. Land Office, Salt Lake City, Utah . January 13th, 1920 To John Reed of Salt Lake City, Utah, Contestee: You are hereby notified that Myron My-ron P. Lewis, who gives 424 Judge building. Salt Lake City, Utah, as his post office address, did on January Jan-uary Sth, 1920, file in this office his duly corroborated application to con test and secure the cancellation of your Homestead. Entry No. 019S44. Serial No. 019S44, made Mav 12th, 1917. for SW 1-4 SW 1-4. Section 11, Township 2 9 South, Range 11 West, S. L. Meridian, and as grounds for his contest he alleges that "said entryman has failed to establish residence res-idence on said land and has been totally absent therefrom for a period per-iod of more than two years; that said entryman has failed to make any improvements on said land and has at no time cultivated any portion por-tion pt the same, and that such failure to reside upon and cultivate said laud has not been due to service ser-vice in the Army, Navy, Marine Corps Cor-ps or other War Organization of the United States'." You are. therefore further notified noti-fied that the said allegations will be taken as confessed, and your sold entry will he canceled without further fur-ther right to be heard, cither before this office or on appeal, if you fail to file in this office within twontv days after the FOURTH publication of this uotice as shown below, vour answer, under oath, specifically responding res-ponding to these allegations of contest, con-test, together with due proof that you have served a copy of your answer ans-wer on the said contestant either in person or by registered mail.
