Show WHO WILL I GET MILL? I Thos. Sumner, who is pro- moting the establishment in southern Utah of modernly equipped woolen mills, was in Milford yesterday. Mr. Sumner was on his way to Provo, where he lives, and will soon return to this county. Considerable money has already been sub- scribed for the mills to be es- tabllshed at Beaver City in the old plant formerly operated at that place, but now comes Ce- dar City and wants to know if Cedar is not the place for such an enterprise, and Cedar may offer Inducements that will be too good to turn down. How- ever, there is no doubt that if sufficient Beaver county money is available to finance the en- terprise the mills will be added to the industries of this county. It is up to the moneyed men of Beaver county. Cedar has plen- ty of coal for cheap fuel and is a great wool growing center. Beaver City has the building and water power and some of the necessary machinery. It will therefore be money forth- coming to finance the enter- prise that will "talk." |
