Show Frosh Report for Daily Practice Under the direction of coaches Bill Swan and Carl the smallest squad in the university's history is reporting- daily for freshman football Coach has a far from gloomy outlook on the despite the size of the squad which consists of only thirty-six Several players are showing up well in and the coach is confident that many on the squad will gain positions next This week the team is studying Colorado State's plays and after that they will attempt to solve the Utah State Although it is against conference rules to play intercollegiate freshman the squad tries out its ability by running practice games with the varsity who set up a Utah Those showing up well in practice so far in the back Zeldon Ralph Joe Bruce Geary and Craig On the line the outstanding performers are Verl Stan Tally Bill Duane Jensen and Kent There is a decided lack of players from the three city high but Coach explains that they can now play for three years in high PISTOL CLUB SETS MEETING The Pistol club will have their first meeting Monday at p. m. at the pistol according to Margaret Captain Davis will assist the club with instructions and arrangements will be made for the |
