Show I NADA NOTES The H. Lindeman family moved into their new house Saturday. They have been staying at the Lewis ranch since they arrived in Xada from Arizona, Ari-zona, last winter. Alvin Couch came up on the local Saturday evening from Caliente. to stay a few days at his wife's place west of here. Howard Dinwiddie and Arthur Palmer, purchased a practically new Ford in Milford recently. There have been several more seizures sei-zures by the government of posts and wood gotten without permits. It seems strange that people cannot Ind time to secure permits when , they are so easily procured, and furnish fur-nish the necessary protection. Mrs. H. R. Moore went to Milford Thursday evening to have some dental den-tal work done. She returned Saturday Sat-urday morning, spending Saturday J visiting at the home of Mrs. L. A. i Culmsee. i There was a dance at the abandoned abandon-ed building at the switch, given by Mrs. Smith, in honor of her visiting relatives. Mr. Gilpin. Mrs. Smith's father, arrived in Xada Tuesday to visit with his daughter and her family. Mr. , Ray, whose family has been staying with Smith's, and who is Mrs. Smiths hrother-in-law. also came to visit, lie arrived Tuesday morning. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Lewis left for California in their Ford Thursday morning, after spending the past summer looking after the Lewis ranches. Robert Bonner is now in charge at "Lewisville." Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Rambler motored mo-tored from Minersville Thursday evening. ev-ening. Mr. Rambler has been working work-ing at Cedar r.nd he joined his wife 'vt Euckhorn. where she has been teaching, for the trip. Mr. and Mrs. V. C. Johnson came from California Friday evening. The B. B. gang is replacing the old trestle between the store and the switch with an IS-ineh culvert which v.-ill handle better the water that collects on the east side of the track. The digging has been finished and the cement work has begun. B. Hensche left for Salt Lake with his daughter. Frieda. He drove to Minersville, where he put his horses m pasture, then went to Milford. from which point he entrained for the lake city. Mr. T. J. Norris and Bill Xorris vent to Lund last week to get some sheep they bought there. H. Lindeman went to Ced'ar on Wednesday. Mr. George Meyers arrived in Xada Xa-da Tuesday evening to ioin his wife for a month's vacation. He is employed em-ployed ft Vallejo. California, by the government. Mr. V. C. Johnson took I"'s mother Mrs. J. E. Rambler, to Minersville Monday. She will go from there to "uckhorn. where she will resume t ""aching. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Keith spent Sunday at the home of R. R. Mc-Ginty. Mc-Ginty. O. S. S'ephenson went with J. M. Robinson, who is employing him. to ine valley last wek. returning on Sunday evening. |
