Show The old year is dead with all its sorrows and pleasures; and with the morrow, we issue in the New Year with all its hopes and joys. Never before has the contrast, been so great. ..A year ago, our holiday season was one of disappointment, gloom and mourning. ....Today we are surrounded by all that goes to make us happy and thankful. The lean hungry days of the early part of 1919 gave way to the more prosperous days which developed de-veloped into a year which has gone out with one of the happiest holidays seasons ever experienced in Milford, and the New Year bids fair to be a continuation of the era of increasing prosperity and linppiness, which has just begun. The year 1920 gives promise of many good things. ..Prosperity is here; our farm lands will give us enlarged crops; our ranches will have abundance of forage; our new wells will give us plenty of water for irrigation; our mines are alive once more. Tho railroad pay roll is on the Increase; wool is now being contracted con-tracted for 50c per pound ; our now school house will soon be ready for our new crop of kiddies. We wish every man, woman and child in Beaver County, peace, prosperity pros-perity and happiness. |
