Show SALT LAKE ROUTE NOTES Last Sunday night there was a. car emigrant outfit iti the yards. Anyway a gallon can was found and the man who was traveling with the outfit had to milk the cow. The milk was strained strain-ed and kept away from all fire plugs in order that no water would get in it. it was pronounced to be the best milk ever in Mil ford. Carl R. Gray, president of the Union Un-ion Pacific and party passed through Milford last Friday on special train of five cars. Tins special was handled han-dled over tho entire Salt Lake Route at a high rate of speed and maintained main-tained it's schedule at all times. Th Salt Lake Route for service. The Milford high-powered station is now in direct communication with stations in Old Mexico and Germany. The Salt Lake Route is dumping on an average of fifteen cars of coal daily at Milford. There will probably prob-ably be two hundred and fifty cars dumped. It is reported in Railway circles that we are to have a new manager at the Salt Lake Route Beanery. There is at this time about forty per cent of the shop force in Milford Mil-ford off with the flu. Fireman Riley, in on 2nd 1, Sunday Sun-day night, took ill in Milford and was unable to take his run back to Salt Lake. Fireman J. D. Johnson has returned return-ed to Milford and resumed duty after af-ter having spent several weeks in the Holy Cross hospital in Salt Lake. Abbie Anderson, time keeper for the Salt Lake Route was a Milford visitor last Monday. Mrs. II. C. Bradfield left for Long Beach last Monday. Stinger O'Hara while bleeding a car at Delta Tuesday night lost sev- several dollars. The greater part' of it was found by the night operator and will be handed to Bill upon his arrival at Delta. Mrs. Clara Howd left for Lund last Monday morning. The cigars are on Albert Wallace, cashier at the local freight office. Its a boy. Kick through Bert. Hans. C. Lewison, carpenter at the local shops bruised 'his third finger fin-ger on the left hand last Tuesday, account crow bar slipping. Will be off dutv probably one dav. I Stanley Tanner is doing the relief re-lief work as caller. W. A. McCans, father of engineer M. W. McCans of Milford, Utah, died at his home in Morgantown, W. Va., February 14, at the age of 7S. Funeral Fu-neral services were held February 16th. Spencer Schow has been assigned to the Telephone position during the day time at the round house. Engineer Ira Baxter is back in the service. Stock extra west out of Milford 7:15 a. m, Wednesday morning, George Atkln has resigned as office of-fice boy at the round house and will manage the new Cafe.
