Show SOUTHMILFORD Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Koch of Milford, Mil-ford, with their daughter Rozetta, here from Colorado Springs, Colorado, Colo-rado, and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd B. Hansen of Richfield, were dinner din-ner guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Cook. 'Mr. and Mrs. Clair Gillins and daughters, Laraine and Janntt;, also Tom LeFevre, were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Bingham in honor of their son, Allen who will leave soon to resume re-sume service with the United States Marines. Young Roldo Turner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roldo Turner, met with a serious accident Saturday evening eve-ning when the horse he was riding became entangled in some wire and fell, skinning the lad's face badly and breaking his' nose. P. B. Fisher narrowly escaped death the first 0f the week when he was trying to remove a starting start-ing box which was supposed to have been free from electricity. His hand and face were severely iburned. Mr. and Mrs. Connell Jones are now living on the property east of the Haskell place. Obra Myers returned this week from .Sunbeam, Colorado, where he spent three weeks shearing sheep. Bud Baxter, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Baxter, is home from a Texas camp for a brief visit. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Walker of Los Angeles have purchased the Bert Rismond place. Mr. Walker is employed by the Union Pacific and was transferred to Milford. Mrs. Walker and three small children will come to make their . home here about the loth of this month. " i Stanley Lewis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Lewis, is visiting home . folks on a navy furlough. Mr. and Mrs. P. B. Fisher entertained enter-tained the Community club Saturday. Satur-day. A delicious hot dinner was served to the following members: Mr. and Mrs. Kent Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Griffiths. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan McKnight. Mr. and Mrs. ( Clair Gillins and the host and ! hostess. After dinner the remain-1 der of the evening was spent in playing cards. |
