Show SOUTH MILFORD The Social Hour club met last Thursday, April 18, at the club house with 14 members present. Delicious refreshments were served serv-ed by the hostesses, Mrs. Mildred Heslingon and Mrs. Sadie Griffiths. Grif-fiths. Mrs. Wilford Johnson and little daughter of Salt Lake City spent the week and including Easter Sunday, with her mother, Mrs. Abe Heslington, and other relatives. rela-tives. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan McKnight, accompanied by Mrs. Edna Baker and three children, Thel, Helen and Alfred, visited the west C C C camp Easter Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Parley Fisher and son Norman spent Easter at the Wild Bill mine, where several other of their friends were enjoying enjoy-ing their Easter eggs and lunch. County Assessor James Rollins and family were visitors at the west camp on Easter Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan McKnight were called to Minersville Monday on account of the serious illness of Mr. McKnight's sister, Mrs. Al-brecht. Al-brecht. A large crowd of Milford citizens citi-zens as well as those from South Milford were in attendance at the meeting held Saturday, where underground water legislation was discussed by Mr. T. H. Humph-erys, Humph-erys, state engineer, of Salt Lake. Mrs. James Patterson returned home Sunday from Salt Lake, -where she has had medical treatment treat-ment at the L. D. S. hospital. |
