Show Potato Special Is To Visit Milford On February 21 Bringing the latest and best information in-formation on patatoefai direct to growers, the Ujnion Pacific railroad rail-road will operate a ten-oar fpo-tato fpo-tato exhibit and demonstration train through the principal producing pro-ducing areas of Utah between February 19-23 after having successfully suc-cessfully exhibited in Idaho, Oregon, Ore-gon, Colorado, Nebraska, Wyoming Wyo-ming and Kansas since January 22. The train is scheduled to be in Milford Wednesday, February 21, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. From here it goes to Cedar City and preceding its coming to Milford it will make a stop in Fillmore. "More quality potatoes per acre" will be the educational theme of this spud special, described de-scribed as a "college of agriculture" agricul-ture" by leaders of the state agri-culutral agri-culutral college extension service and experiment station, the state department of agriculture, United States Department of Agriculture and other organizations in Utah who are cooperating. ''Growers, shippers, dealers, consumers, county agricultural agents, state commissioners of agriculture, experiment station leaders and college heads are cooperating co-operating in what they regard as the most important potato improvement im-provement program in 20 years", said Earl G. Reed, supervisor of agricultural and industrial development de-velopment for the Union Pacific, who is in charge of the train. "Operation of this train for its educational value in promoting guality potato production as conceived con-ceived by Preside! William ,M. Jeffers of the Union Pacific for the betterment of the potato-producing areas served by the railroad, rail-road, is a part of the extension service program of the state agricultural agri-cultural college and state experiment experi-ment station," Mr. Reed continued. con-tinued.
