GRIM REALITY As long as there will be western "thrillers" in magazines and on movie screens there will remain in the minds of many the idea that the west is wild and wiooly at least it should bd! The days of scalping and war-whooping, flint and arrow., ar-row., c n't be so far away as some may think. If so why did a woman telephone "Indians" to the state police and insist she heard Indians on the war-path and shooting in the vicinity? vici-nity? Even' if the disturbance was a movie group making bafttle scenes, it brings up mighty close to the reality of the old west except for the telephone part.
