The Ruth Chapter No. 6, 0. E. S. had held an installation of officers. They were as follows: Worthy matron, Ida Sterling; worthy patron, William Cochrane; asfco-ciate asfco-ciate matron, Orpha Johnson; conductress, con-ductress, Mary Roper; associate conductress, Ella Ernst; secretary, Ruth Williams; treasurer, Eva Evans; chaplain, Anna Cochrane; organist, Isabel Sh.an; Adah, Pearl Moore; Ruth, Lulu Clay; Esther, Beulah Olson; Martha, Ruth Korns; Electa, Margaret Davis; warder, Charles Moore; sentinel, William Sterling, and trustee, Lily McKeon. Mrs. W. C. Ernst had entertained entertain-ed the bridge club with Mrs. C. C. Sloan, Mrs. William Elmer, Mrs. Charles Himstreet, Mrs. Charles Moore, Mrs. Al McKecn, Mrs. McKay Mc-Kay and Mrs. Davis being present. Fred Cottrell had gone to Indian-nopolis, Indian-nopolis, Indiana, to attend an international convention of the Y. M. C. A., Y. W. C: A. and student volunteer movement. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ward had entertained on Christmas for all w the members of Mrs. V. Palmer's family. Those present were Mrs. V. Palmer, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Palmer, Mr. and Mrs. S. S. At-kin, At-kin, Mrs. Harrier. M'cGoo'jan, Helen Ward, Alice Ward, Shirlin' i Atkin, Martha Atkin, Horace Pal-j Pal-j mer jr., Carl Summers and Sonny ' Boy Atkin. A nine and one-half pound baby girl had arrived at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Johnson on December 21, Lavon Bird, son of Bishop and Mrs. E. H. Bird, who was a student at the B. Y. U. in Provo, had come home for the holidays. Howard Gospill was home from the U. S. A. C. at Logan to spend the holidays. |
