Show Dairy Cattle Tests Are To Bejlade Dr. Shirley Nebeker will se in Beaver county on Monday, March 24, to start the regular government govern-ment tuberculosis test of all dairy cattle, according to advise received from Dr. W. H. Hendricks, state livestock inspector. All cattle six months of age or over kept for dairy purpose are expected to be presented for test. In other counties the farmers have been assembling the cattle at chutes for the test, but the veter-narians veter-narians have agreed to go to the farms of the owners in this county, provided the cattle are confined in a small place where they can be tested without delay, preferably in stanchions where they are available. avail-able. This makes it easier on the stock and much more satisfactory to everybody concerned. The test will probably start in Minersville and continue throughout through-out that valley first. Definite notification of schedules will be given so delays and inconveniences will be avoided to the fullest extent. |
