Show Mrs. Tannis Strofeld is now at the home of her mother, Mrs. 0. A. Stceiiilioek, convalescing from severe bruises sustained in a fall while hanging clothes on an indoor lino at a hospital in Caliente, where she was employed. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Vernon gave a family dinner Sunday evening; eve-ning; in honor of Weston, their brother, who leaves soon to enter army service. Mrs. Roy Sutton of Salt Lake City, a former resident of Mil-ford, Mil-ford, spent several days last week with Mrs. E. J. Beesley and other friends in Milford. ,Frank Tribole, who is employed in the Richmond ship yards near Berkeley, California, spent the first part of the week here with home folks and friends. Mrs. Lamar Outzen left Monday Mon-day for Cedar City, where she, with other Red Cross workers, will take a five day course in Red Cross work and instructions. Dan Baudino was in Milford over the week-end on business matters. Mr. Baudino is now employed em-ployed in the mines at Pioche, Jbut ho and his family are making their home in Panaca. Mrs. J. P. Holm, Mrs. William Baker and Mrs. Roy White sr. were hostesses at a party given Wednesday afternoon by the Daughters of Pioneers at the old library building. Bridge was enjoyed en-joyed during the afternoon, after which dainty refreshments were served. Each member was asked to bring a guest and about 24 women were present. Prizes at bridge were won by Mrs. David S. Williams, Mrs. O. A. Steenbock Biul Mrs. Roy Coleman sr. Mr. and Mrs. Frank White entertained at a card party Monday Mon-day nig'ht in honor of Thorald White, who is leaving Friday for U. S. army service. The semi-annual installation of officers of Victory Rebekah Lodge No. 43 was held on Wednesday Wednes-day evening, January 6, at the I. O. O.
