Show Lions Club Holds j Ladies Night Affair Lion Sam Cline served as toast-master toast-master for the Milford Lions club ladies night dinner dance, given Thursday night of last week at the j L. D. S. recreation hall. The party ' served also as a farewell gesture for Lion and Mrs. Jay Christensen. Lion Christensen, who came here from Delta to serve as manager ' of the Tri-State Lumber company and has been serving the club as ' tail-twister, was to leave this Thursday for the induction center ' in Salt Lake City after moving his ! family back to Delta. Musical numbers given during the banquet consisted of a violin solo by Lion Kenneth C. Farrer, accompanied by Mrs. Farrer; and a piano solo by Mrs. Gwen Smith, wife of Lion Tamer Edmund L. Smith. Fifty-seven Lions, with their wives and guests, were present for the banquet, following which 1 an hour or so of dancing was en- ! joyed. |
