Miss Ann Xebeker and Milton Hearn had stole a march on their friends and slipped away to Ely, Nevada, where they were quietly married. The young couple were to reside in Milford, Mr. Hearn being employed at the Hubbell drug store. The Victory Post, Past Noble Grands club, had been entertained at the home of Mrs. Selma Carlson. Carl-son. Those present were Mrs. Bertha Sherwood, Mrs. Estella Jennings, Mrs. Mable Coleman, Mrs. Bertha Cottrell, Mrs. Vena Wilson and Mrs. Martha Armstrong. Arm-strong. Miss Nellie Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jones of Milford, had been married April 4 to Adolph Garzand of Frisco. They had been married at Parowan and the couple were to live In Milford where Mr. Garzand was employed in the drayage business. Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Leech of Long Beach, California, were in Milford, visiting at the home of Mrs. Leech's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ward. Dave Glenn of Caliente, a brake-man brake-man of the Pioche branch of the Union Pacific, and Charles Glenn of Provo, were here for their grandmother's funeral. Word had reached Milford of the death of Dr. H. C. Hunter after several weeks' illness at a hospital in Los Angeles. Dr. Hunter had practiced in Beaver county over 21 years and had been an ardent civic and church leader all his life. He was 66 years of age at his death. The body was ! brought to Milford and funeral services were to be held under the auspices of members of the Masonic Ma-sonic lodge. V |
