Burns, War Fund treasurer. With a $050 quota j for Western Beaver county, the shortage represents one-third i of the amount requested. Compared with last year s drive ! when citizens of this section of the county went over the top and over-' over-' flowed the fund's warchest with a 220 subscription, this situation reflects unfavorably upon our city in comparison with other cities of the state. ' Never before have such great demands de-mands been made upon the dozens of agencies served by the War Fund, reports Mrs. Harold Cline co-chairman with Mrs. Margaret Murdock, of the drive.
