Show COOPERATIVE FIRE FIGHT WORKERS TO BE CALLED During the months of May and June, many Beaver county citizens citi-zens will be called upon by Ranger H. M. Christenscn and Sheriff Jasper Jas-per Puffer, or one of their fellow ' orl-prs, to ioin the Utah Cooperative Cooper-ative Fir? Fighters. Cooperative fire fighting which was known during the war as F & RFFS has -ready reduced the damage by fire to our watersheds and rangelandp. viV. Christensen, Beaver county UCFF coordinator lists the following follow-ing Purposes of the organization: 1. To carry on a cooperative fire control program among all state, county, city and federal agencies having fire control responsibilities. responsibili-ties. 2. To provide fire fighters, equipped and trained, ready to suppress forest, range and watershed water-shed fires in every locality of the ;:tnte and of our county. 3. To acquaint the people of Utah and Beaver county with their responsibility in fire prevention preven-tion and control. 4. To provide an opportunity for the people of Utah and Beaver county to participate in a pro-Tram pro-Tram of conservation which will benefit our community. We should till be ready to assist him in this 'inportant work by volunteering to Lecome members of the UCFF. |
