Show Civic Clubs Group Meets Saturday; Eureka Is Host1 i i Committees and hours of the - i various meetings of the June con- j vention of the Associated Civic Clubs of Southern Uiah, to be held in Eureka June 27 and 28, have been announced by P. J. Fennell, general chairman. The outstanding feature of the monthly meeting will be a tour of a leading mine of the Tintic district. dis-trict. Mi-. Fennell, who is a member of I the executive committee of the Associated As-sociated Civic clubs, announced appointment ap-pointment of committee heads as follows: Publicity, J. Vern Rife; banquet, Nile Matthews; dance, Tug Ferguson; program, J. L. Jameson; ladies' committee, Mrs. Nile Matthews. Other members of ! the committee will be selected by the chairmen. The meeting schedule for the j members and directors of the clubs ' has been announced as follows: Saturday, at noon, meeting of executive ex-ecutive board; 2 p.m., directors' meeting; at 7:30 p.m., a banquet of all members and partners in the high school building, and a dance at 9 p.m. in the Elks pavilion. A trip through Tintic Standard mine, by arrangement with J. W. Wade, president, is scheduled at 10 a.ni. Sunday. , The Eureka Kiwanis club is sponsor of the June meeting of the clubs to be held in Eureka. |
