Show Jl Trousseau Tea Given For Bride of Holidays A delightful trousseau tea was given Thursday afternoon of last week at the W. E. Martin home in honor of Mrs. Ray S. Fisher, their daughter, bride of a week. Two rooms were artistically arrayed with the bride's lovely wedding presents including three aritcis of linen and battenburg, which were of special interest;, having been handed down by the great-grandmother great-grandmother of Mrs. Fisher. A third room was the serving room, and here the table had a beautiful lace and satin cover with a bowl of jonquils and ferns arranged in a silver container. Mrs. Martin and Mrs. P. B. Fisher received the callers and Mrs. Vance Fisher and Mrs. Wil-ma Wil-ma Weston presided at the tea table. Before the guests arrived, the bride was presented with a large bouquet of white carnations and heather. Tiny white ribbons were tied at the end and at th ! end of these numerous dollar bills were tied. The committee of ar-J j rangemets were: Mrs. Charles Decker, Mrs. J. D. Johnston, Mrs. Grover Cuddy, Mrs. Roy Cottrell, j and Mrs. Floren Bingham. I Punch sherbet and cake were ! served and some 60 guests called between the hours of 4 :00 and 1 7:00 o'clock. |
