Show I Collision Results j In $2500 Fines j Lyle Dalton"of Minersville and I Jim' W. Patterson of Milford were j fined $25 each, given a ten days ' suspended jail sentence and had their drivers' licenses revoked for a year by Justice James Glenn in Milford town justice court Monday. Mon-day. The charges were driving while intoxicated, as preferred by Town Attorney Sam Cline. The cases were the outcome of a head-on collision on Main street Saturday night near the M. E. chui-ch in which ears belong-j belong-j ing to both drivers were badly I smashed up though the occupants I miraculously escaped with only l minor injuries. Accompaning young Dalton were a party of Minersville young folks while Bernett Patterson Patter-son and Bill Easton were additional addi-tional occuptirtts of the Milford car. The smashup was the worst in this vicinity for some time and will no doubt lead to a stricter enforcement en-forcement of local traffic regulations. regula-tions. n |
