Show . 4 Ruminatin' S ! Roundabout In which Ruminator proposes to cireani a lot, think as Utile as necessary, scatter a few bouquets bou-quets while their objectives are still above the sod to enjoy them, and fire a hot-shot now and then while said Ruminator Ruminat-or can enjoy seeing the sparks fly. Some Milford people seem to be of the idea that it is the town's responsibility to take care of this weed situation. Well, in a way it is. The town has the proper machinery in its ordinance book to take care of the situation in good shape even -to removing the weeds from the premises of those of our citizens who do not have pride enough to remove them of their own accord. The catch is: if and when the town should do this, it will be done at the expense of the property owner and said cost will become a lien on the property of that person! The town authorities are reluctant reluc-tant to invoke this law unless it becomes abolutely necessary but there is a constantly growing demand de-mand that weeds be removed and premises otherwise cleaned up before be-fore fair time and if the people won'' do this work the town will have to take harsh measures. And, while we're on this subject, sub-ject, why not take up a labor with your neighbors and urge cn them the desirability of having our town look it's best? M |
