The consummation of a romance which began in the eastern states mission field took place Wednesday Wednes-day in the Manti L. D. S. temple when Miss Renee Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Smith, became be-came the bride of Berlyn Qsborn, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Osborn of Escalante. The ceremony was performed by President Robert Young of the Manti temple. The parents of both young people accompanied ac-companied them to Manti, the newlyweds returning with the elder Osborns to Escalante, where they will make their home for the summer, the bridegroom intending to resume college work at Logarf. next winter. The bride is a graduate gradu-ate of the Milford high schjo! and is a former student of the B. A. C. at Cedar City. She has done some nursing in the local hospital and filled an eminently successful two-year two-year mission, spending much of her time in Connecticut. She has been active in religious and other activities and is popular with young and old alike. M |
