Show Hcrb Vinegars ! Herb vinegars are easy to make j and they add a piquant flavor to 1 tasteless dishes. Bruise them and .' pack down in a two-quart jar in the ' proportion of one cup of leaves to j one quart of vinegar. Let the mix-i mix-i ture stand for two weeks, then , strain out the leaves. Taste the vine-.! vine-.! gar. If the flavor is not strong : enough, add another cup of leaves and store for 10 days more. Filter the final product through flannel or ' filter paper. |
