Show SOUTH JILFORD iGael Elmer just recently was awarded the Sears Roebuck scholarship. schol-arship. Mrs. Gertrude Cook visited in town last week with her daughter, Mrs. Roy Cottrell, and family. Mrs. Reuben Jones spent several days last week in Parowan, at the home of her mother, Mrs. Connell, who is very ill. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan McKnight made a trip last Saturday to Hurricane for fruit. Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Myers and Mr. and Mrs. Ivan McKnight went to Craig, Colorado Wednesday morning to visit with their brother, bro-ther, Claud Myers, and family and to help celebrate his birthday, which was Thursday, August 27. Little Bill Griffiths came home Sunday morning from the hospital, hos-pital, having recovered from a short seige of pneumonia. Mrs. Barnes and daughter Vesta left Sunday for their home in Kaysville, after visiting the past week with their daughter and sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Howard Gospill. V |
