Show Prospector Dies Upstate Death took another man prominently promi-nently identified with the mining history of western Beaver county Saturday with the passing in Salt lake of Robert Charles Steward, 81, veteran prospector, who was credited with discovery of the ore in Wah Wah valley which later was worked as the Xewhouse property. Mr. Steward was horn at Sunderland, Sun-derland, Durhamshire, England, February 7, 18511, and crossed the ! lains to Utah at the age of 12 years. ' Besides his prospecting activities, ac-tivities, the deceased had followed the trade of stonemason. Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Emerson L. D. S. ward chapel in Salt Lake City. |
