Show Quota Increased i For 5th War Loan i i ' Milford's quota for the 5th War ! Loan drive is set at $49,500, an i increase of $10,500 over the quota I for the 4th drive, according to 'Vance Fisher, J. C. Penney store : manager, reappointed chairman for the present drive following the ! success attained by him and bis co-workers in the Fourth War j loan drive. ! This should be an easy amount to meet inasmuch as D-day has come and gone and everyone is enthused and anxiously watching the results and progress of the j war. A special meeting was held 'Thursday.. June 15, when a large j group of women workers gathered and were organized into teams to :make absolutely certain that every home in our community is not only I given an opportunity to buy extra war bonds, but is sold extra war ! bonds. ! A pledge form is to be used for everyone to sign and those signing a pledge must 'make certain their pledge is redeemed. This is our biggest drive; our efforts ef-forts and purchases must be doubled. Our boys on the front lines are doing their utmost let us on the home front back them to the Nth degree. Let's "Back the Attack." |
