Among the Scriptural references refer-ences are: "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable prof-itable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the mas of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works". (II Tim. 3: 16, 17). "Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city". (Rev. 22: 14). The following j excerpts are taken from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy: "The fifth erroneous postulate is that matter mat-ter of holds in itself the issues of life and death, that matter is not only capable of experiencing pleasure plea-sure and pain, but is also capable of imparting these sensations", (p. 92: 3-6). The false belief that spirit is now submerged in matter, mat-ter, at some future time to be emancipated from it, this belief alone is mortal", (p. 546: 1-3). "The great truth in the Science of being is that the real man was, is, and ever shall be perfect, is incontrovertible, in-controvertible, for if man is the image, reflection, of God, he is neither inverted nor subverted, but upright and Godlike", (p. 200: 16-19). |
