Show Funeral In Los Angeles For Former Local Man Funeral services were held Saturday in Los Angeles for Hubert Hu-bert Charles Banning, 52, formei; Milford resident and brother-in-law of L. B. Waddingham. A brakeman on the Santa Fe railroad, rail-road, and making his home in East Los Angeles, Mr. Banning was killed by a fall from a train near l Kingman, Arizona, May 31, ac-1 ac-1 cording to Los Angeles news-' news-' papers. He was employed by the ' Union. Pacific at one time but left here about 1914, and transferred i to the Santa Fe. I He is survived by his wife, the former Phyllis E. Waddingham; a ' daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Kime of Los Angeles; a son, Hubert W., in training at Santa Ana; two sisters, Mrs. Alma Condra, Cory-don, Cory-don, Iowa, and Mrs. Bertha Leiber, Peoria, Illinois; two brothers, Wayne Banning of Glendale and T. E. Banning of Oakland; and one grandson, Wayne Kime. v |
