Show Information Wanted As To Veterans' Graves j Theodore Kronholm, commander of Milford American Legion Post I No. 16, has received a letter from iW. G. Williams, Utah state adju-' adju-' tant general, requesting infonma-jtion infonma-jtion concerning unmarked veteran ' graves in this community. ' It seems that there is a legislative legisla-tive appropriation of $5000 available avail-able for furnishing markers for each and every veteran's grave which is now unmarked. At the lime the appropriation was made it was hoped to get a W,PA project pro-ject to do the necessary work of setting these markers as the $5000 would not cover more than the cost of the markers, and it would seem now that they are getting up a post-war appropriation appropria-tion to do this work. 1 Commander Kronholm is now being asked to furnish the name, date of birth and date of death of every unmarked veteran's grave in the local cemetery and he in turn asks that this information be given to V. M. Burns, town clerk. The request for information applies ap-plies to World war, Spanish-American Spanish-American war and Civil war veterans. |
