| Show I SOCIETY ADVOCATES U IU CAMPUS FOR FOIl As a result of the suggestion of Governor Governor Governor Gov Gov- Bamberger in his recent message to the state legislature with regard to a memorial hall ball for Utah soldiers a meeting was held at the Newhouse hotel last Thursday night The State Historical society was instrumental instrumental in in- in bringing about the meeting meeting meet meet- ing and several other organizations it were represented represented They were the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers the Knights of Columbus the Handcart Brigade the historical department of the University of Utah the Red Cross the Mormon Battalion the Daughters of th the American Revolutions and the Indian War veterans A resolution was adopted favoring the building of a memorial hall haIl on the University of Utah campus Among those present were Andrew Jensen John Harvey Mrs Susa Young Gates J J.
