Miles White had gone with the Richfield battallion to spend two weeks in the training camp at Jordan Narrows, near Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. William Dawson had moved here from Tintic and and purchased the home of Clark Kesler. Miss Alice Schow had gone to Los Angeles for a few weeks visit. Kenneth and Mabel Bradfield had returned from a trip to Long Beach and Los Angeles, California. Califor-nia. Mr. and Mrs. G. R. Wilcox, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Cottrell, Mr. and Mrs. N. E. Kinnon, Mrs. Vena Wilson and her sister, Miss So-phorina So-phorina Hawley, of New York, had motored out to the cedars near, the Wild Bill mine and" enjoyed a picnic in the cool of the evening, j Mr. and Mrs. Frank Osborn had moved to Milford from Frisco. Mr. Osborn was working at the Gold Crown mine. Mrs. Monto Levi and baby from Reno, Nevada, had arrived in Milford Mil-ford to spend several weeks with Mr. Levi's father, Fred Levi, and also with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Murdock sr. at Beaver. Bea-ver. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Marshall of Minersville were happy over the arrival of three babies, two girls weighing five pounds each, and a boy, weighing six pounds. Mrs. 0. R. Smith and children had gone to Pleasant Grove to at-( at-( tend the wedding of Mr. Smith's j sister. j Mrs. Erma Gillies, Mr. and Mrs. George Fernley, and Sam Cline had returned from a week's trip spent at the parks of southern I Utah and Grand canyon. 1 Work had been progressing rapidly at the Walter James oil j well. They were down 2750 feet and had ordered new cable as the old one had become too short. Mrs. Hattie Root and daughter Arvilla had returned from several week's stay in California.
